Dr Spencer Murray is an English Urologist, a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (RACS) and a member of the Urological Society of Australasia (USANZ). Dr Murray has been providing urological services in the Illawarra and Shoalhaven for the past 7 years; predominantly providing urological services in Nowra, but also providing a link between the Shoalhaven, Shellharbour and Wollongong.
He provides ‘contemporary urology’ to the area and offers urological assessments that range from simple medical and lifestyle management, up to advanced endoscopic / laparoscopic surgery.
Dr Murray is well equipped to manage all common urological complaints including stone disease, uro-oncology, (renal, prostate, bladder, testicular, penile), and lower urinary tract symptoms.
All simple (lower tract) endoscopic procedures, including trans urethral prostatectomies (both laser and standard bipolar loop), bladder tumours, and scrotal surgery can be performed at Shoalhaven District Memorial Hospital, Nowra Private Hospital and Shellharbour Private Hospital.
Additionally, lasers are available at all three of these sites for the treatment of renal tract stones and for prostate surgery. More complex procedures, such as laparoscopic renal work, will be transferred to Wollongong.
Dr Murray consults from the Specialist Consulting Suites at Shellharbour Private Hospital. Please enter through the main door on Captain Cook Drive. Dr Murray’s Nowra consulting rooms are at 47 Junction Street, Nowra (next door to Junction Street Family Practice). Please enter through the front door of number 47 Junction Street and proceed down the hallway where you will find our friendly reception staff. Limited parking is available at the rear of 47 Junction Street. There is usually plenty of on street parking available.
