It is performed in hospital as a day surgery procedure under a general anaesthetic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The epididymis sits above and behind the testicle. The epididymis is a tube that carries sperm produced in the testicle to the vas deferens. Cysts are very common in the epididymis and if these become large, they may become uncomfortable.
