This procedure is usually reserved for instances when medical therapy does not alleviate symptoms adequately, is not tolerated or in severe cases of obstruction.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A laser fibre is inserted through a telescope (cystoscope) and laser energy used to vaporize the internal part of the prostate.
